Porsche Financial Services, Inc. (“PFS” or “we”) knows that privacy is important to you. It is also vital to our business. The PFS Privacy Notice (“Privacy Notice”) describes how we collect, use and share Personal Information that we collect about you in connection with the use of the Porsche Financial Services Website and any other online or mobile Porsche Financial Services portal, platform, or software application that posts this Privacy Notice (“Online Services”). As used in this Privacy Notice, “Personal Information” means information that identifies or can reasonably be linked to a specific individual, such as name, address, e-mail address, phone number, or driver’s license number, which we collect and use in connection with the Online Services. “Information” is collectively used herein to refer to both Personal Information and information that does not identify and cannot reasonably be linked to a specific individual.
This Privacy Notice is considered part of the Porsche Financial Services Website Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). By using our Online Services you signify your acceptance of this Privacy Notice. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Notice, please do not access or use our Online Services or submit any Personal Information to us.
Our Online Services are intended for users located exclusively in the United States. If you are located outside the United States, please do not use our Online Services. If you use our Online Services, you consent to the use and disclosure of your information in accordance with this Privacy Notice and subject to the applicable state and federal laws of the United States. This Privacy Notice does not apply to any of our affiliates, other Porsche companies, or Porsche dealers which are independent third parties.
1. What Types of Information We Collect and How We Collect It
We may collect information about you such as your name, email address, postal address, mobile phone number, vehicle identification number, drivers’ license number, and gender. For authentication purposes, we may collect responses to security questions, your account number, your Social Security number, and other information necessary to establish and use your system log in credentials. We may also collect information about visitors and their interactions with our Online Service such as: (i) the name of the domain and host from which you access the Internet; (ii) the Internet protocol address of the host server you are using; (iii) the name and version of your web browser; (iv) the date and time you access our Online Services; (v) if you came to us through a link from some other system, the Internet address of the system from which you linked to our Online Services; and (vi) technical data about the device being used to access our Online Services (such as operating system version, browser plug-ins installed, and fonts installed).
We may collect Personal Information about you from a variety of sources including: (a) enrollment applications, applications for financing, survey responses, and other electronic or paper forms that you fill out in connection with our Online Services; (b) your use of our Online Services; (c) your interactions with customer service, including information you enter or speak, and (c) other entities and third parties, such as individuals and financial institutions, credit bureaus, affiliates, or other companies (such as identity verification services and consumer reporting agencies).
Some parts of our Online Services use cookies, which are small data files placed on your device. Most such cookies are "session" cookies that are only used for a specific period of time during which you are on our Online Services, but some may be "persistent" cookies that stay on your device and are read by the web server when you return to our Online Services (unless you delete them). We may also use Information as part of our security controls to uniquely identify your device and authenticate the user when accessing our Online Services, and may be compared to and added to a database of similar information operated by a service provider in order to identify and block access to our Online Services by devices previously associated with fraudulent activity (“Device Data”).
3. How We May Share Personal Information About You
Financial companies like PFS need to share consumers’ Personal Information to run their everyday business – to process transactions, maintain customer accounts, and report to credit bureaus.
Financial companies choose how they collect and share your Personal Information, but federal law gives consumers the right to choose to limit some, but not all, sharing. Our privacy notices describe your choices. Please be aware that you may not receive information regarding special programs offered from time to time if you limit our sharing of your Personal Information.

We may share your Personal Information with parties who are contractually obligated to keep it confidential and use it only for the purposes approved by us. We may also share certain information with service providers, which will compare and add the Device Data and fraud data to a database of similar device and fraud information in order to identify and block access to the Site by devices associated with fraudulent or abusive activity.
Identity and Location Verification: You authorize us to share your mobile subscriber details with a third party provider which will request your mobile carrier to use your mobile subscriber details for verifying your identity. Those details may include name, billing address, e-mail, and phone number.
4. Other Important Information
California: Under California law, we will not share information we collect about you with non-affiliates, unless the law allows. For example, we may share information with your consent, to service your accounts, or to provide rewards or benefits you are entitled to. We will limit sharing among our affiliates to the extent required by California law.
North Dakota: PFS will not disclose nonpublic personal information to any nonaffiliated third party, except as otherwise permitted by law.
Vermont: Under Vermont law, we will not share information we collect about Vermont residents with companies outside of our affiliates, unless the law allows. We will not share information about your creditworthiness with our affiliates except with your consent, but we may share information about our transactions or experiences with you with our affiliates without your consent.
5. Changes to This Privacy Notice
We reserve the right to revise this Privacy Notice at any time in the future at our sole discretion, so you should review it frequently for changes. Any changes to the Privacy Notice will be clearly and conspicuously posted on the Porsche Financial Services Website. The revised version will be effective immediately at the time it is posted, unless a delayed effective date is expressly stated therein. You may (in our discretion) also be provided with an email notification of such amendments. You may (in our discretion) be required to affirmatively acknowledge or accept the revised Privacy Notice in order to continue using our Online Services. Any use of the Online Services after a notice of change (whether by posting on our Online Services, email, or express acknowledgment or acceptance) will constitute your express agreement to such changes. If we make any change in how we use Personal Information about you that is covered by this Privacy Notice, we will notify you when required by law.
6. Links to Other Websites
Our Online Services includes links to other websites we may not control and whose privacy practices may differ from ours. If you submit Personal Information to any of those sites, your information is governed by their privacy policies and statements. We encourage you to carefully read the privacy statement of any website you visit.
7. Security
We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards designed protect Personal Information we receive via our Online Services from unauthorized access and use. For Personal Information pertaining to consumers, those safeguards are designed to protect the security and confidentiality of the information, to protect against anticipated threats and hazards to security and integrity of the information, and to protect against unauthorized access to or use of the information that could result in substantial harm or inconvenience. However, no data transmission is guaranteed as 100% secure. In addition to security measures such as collecting Device Data, registered users may be required to select and answer multiple security questions and may be required to enter additional information, including Personal Information, when registering for an account or when subsequently logging in to the Online Services.
8. Children's Privacy
Our products and services are not intended for individuals under the age of 18 and we do not knowingly collect any Personal Information from or about individuals under 18 years of age. Please do not submit such information to us and, as a parent or legal guardian, please do not allow your children to submit Personal Information without your permission. Please contact us via the Contact Information provided below if you believe we may have collected such information, and we will work to delete it.
9. Do Not Track
Some web browsers have a “do not track” feature that lets you tell websites that you do not want to have your online activities tracked. As there is not yet an industry or legal standard for recognizing or honoring do not track signals, at this time, we do not respond to browser “do not track” signals.
